Lemley Named Senior VP
For Great Lakes Region Office;
McCoole honored as 'Construction Person of Year'
GLFEA member firm, the J.S. Alberici Construction Co., St. Louis, Mo., www.alberici.com/home.cfm has named Paul H. Lemley to be senior vice president and general manager of the company's Great Lakes Region office in Livonia. Lemley will be responsible for all operations and business development in the area.
Before joining Alberici, Lemley was a senior vice president for the architectural firm of Arcadis Giffels, Southfield, where he was in charge of the business unit focused on automotive and aerospace suppliers. During his tenure at Arcadis Giffels, Lemley held a number of top management positions and was on the board of directors of Giffels Technologies Inc., a design builder with a focus on high tech facilities. A lifelong resident of the Detroit area, Lemley graduated from Lawrence Technological University.
Earlier in the year, the Midwest Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association in St. Louis named Alberici President Bob McCoole 'Construction Person of the Year' at the chapter's annual awards dinner in May www.alberici.com/item01/item06/article.cfm?NewsID=45. The honor, which is voted on my chapter members, recognizes McCoole for his service to the industry and support to the chapter. "Being recognized by the ASA is very special," McCoole said. In many ways, circumstances in our industry can strain good relations between contractors. I'm proud to work through those circumstances and maintain trusting relationships."
