Opens Web Site

March 8, 2002 – The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers (IABSORIW) has opened a Web site at www.Ironworkers.org. The site has sections for news, history of the union, and a World Trade Center photo gallery, with photos taken by Ironworkers, among other features. Visitors to the site can read up on what it takes to be an ironworker. Pages are devoted to the international’s various departments, including Apprenticeship and the National Training Fund, Davis-Bacon, Institute of the Ironworking Industry, the Ironworkers’ Political Action League, and the National Maintenance Agreements. In addition, the site offers plenty of links, including those to local ironworker union Web sites nationwide.
