Precast Services Inc.
Founded in 1988 by Charles Mayer, CEO; Barry Cooper, president, and James Mirgliotta, Precast Services Inc. specializes in the erection of architectural and structural precast concrete sections for parking structures, building facades, and sports arenas. The company is certified by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) as a qualified erector under the institute's field qualification program. Precast Services Inc. has completed such complex projects as the 12-story Trump Taj Mahal parking facility in Atlantic City, N.J., which required the installation of 15 ft. x 60 ft. double tee panels weighing more than 37 tons each. Other notable projects include the 260-ft. tall air traffic control tower at Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport, and the parking structure at the MGM Grand's temporary casino in Detroit. In addition to Mayer and Cooper, other officers are: Jonathan Smith, executive vice president, and Glen Winterfield, vice president/field operations.
