Ojibway Industrial, a Native American-owned member firm, was founded in March 2001 by Paul Bresette. The company specializes in the fabrication and erection of structural steel, miscellaneous iron, joists, deck, and related services to the construction industry. In addition to new construction, the company can provide fabrication and erection services for building alterations, including shoring and column and truss reinforcement, overhead cranes and runways, heavily-braced structures, towers and galleries, bridge work, pipe trestles, and others. Current projects include the 16-story Compuware office building under construction in downtown Detroit. Ojibway is designing, fabricating and erecting all stair towers and stairs, including four main towers, more than 100 flights of stairs and over 1500 steps. Paul Bressette is the firm's president; Al Green and Don Makins are vice presidents of marketing and operations, respectively. With in-house engineering and detailing capabilities, including Auto CAD 14, Auto CAD 2000, SSDCP and Design SDS/2 detailing software, Ojibway offers design/build and on-site project management. The company prides itself on providing quality, on-time delivery, safety, and cost effective solutions. Its motto: One Call, One Source, One Responsibility.
