In a 400,000-sq.-ft., 700-ft.-long warehouse with 125,000 sq. ft. of space under four large bridge cranes with capacities of up to 75 tons over rail, Miller Truck & Storage Co., Jackson, is able to meet the most demanding needs in machinery moving and erecting, and industrial storage and rail distribution. The company has more than 80 pieces of rigging and construction equipment and its own fleet of trucks. Miller Truck is located adjacent to Norfolk Southern's main line and the company maintains a direct EDI link with its shippers and receivers to allow for continuous tracking of clients' materials. Miller Truck & Storage specializes in all forms of rigging and erecting and is experienced in all phases of machinery moving, assembly, and transportation. The company was formed in 1960 by current president David Miller's father, Leo Miller, as a subsidiary of the F.P. Miller Co., formed in 1945 by Leo's father and David's grandfather, F.P. Miller.
