J.L. Peters Co.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Overhead Conveyor Company, the J.L. Peters Co., Detroit, has provided structural steel fabrication and erection services in Michigan since the mid-1920s. The company boasts an impressive record of work on some of this area's more noteworthy structural steel projects, including: much of Domino's Farms in Ann Arbor; the Galleria, Phases I and IV in Southfield, and the former Samaritan Hospital in Detroit. Overhead Conveyor Company has owned J.L. Peters since 1964.
