Annual Meeting 2000

Detroit Athletic Club Members, directors, and officers of the Great Lakes Fabricators & Erectors Association gathered recently at the Detroit Athletic Club for the group's annual meeting. A meeting of the association's board of directors was conducted prior to a reception, dinner, and after-dinner program.

The association's annual report was presented by GLFEA Executive Director Jim Walker. Chris Bryant of Coastal Training Technologies provided a brief update on the CD-ROM based safety training program the GLFEA is preparing for implementation starting this spring. Also on hand was Steve Rank of the National Erectors Association who provided a perspective on some of the national issues impacting the steel construction industry.
